A week without cake

Its been a crazy week trying to find a new car! We finally found the right one and purchased it today. So now I can get back to baking. I have been missing my creative outlet! I have a cake coming up next Tuesday that I am looking forward to decorating! So for now here is a picture of a cake I made earlier this summer for my nephew Isaak...

Busy Baking

I have been busy baking a yummy lemon cake (perfect for summer) and a spice cake.

I will post some pictures later but for now here are some cute soccer ball cupcakes I made for Heather's team. The soccer balls are key chains so there is something to keep after the cake and frosting are gone :)

Its 2 am and I just got done putting the finishing touches on the wedding cake for tomorrow! I hope Danielle and her groom love it. I know I am happy with how it turned out. It will be fresh and yummy for them. That is why I stay up so late doing cakes.

Wedding

I have been busy working on a wedding cake. I found a cute topper to match the cake on clearance the other day, whoo hoo. Now all I need to do is find the flowers to match. This cake is going to be like the cherry blossom cake on my website but the bride wants red flowers instead of the pink ones. Ill post pictures as soon as its done.

Here are the three cakes I made over the weekend. And last night the best surprise showed up at my moms house! My brothers came home to visit for the week. One from Alaska and the other from California. I am so excited to have my family together for the week, although my sister in law from Alaska is in PA visiting her family. We will miss her this week but it will be a fun one!

Here is a fun cake I made last weekend it has bright pink and brown polka dots. It was a cherry cake with fluffy light pink almond buttercream.
